SPORT: NEW CAMOGIE MANAGER IN WEXFORD

Wexford has a new senior camogie manager.

Helena Jacob, who is the intermediate team goalie, has been given the task of leading Wexford into the new season.

She won an All Ireland with Wexford’s Intermediate team in 2011, and an All Ireland Club medal with her club Oulart the Ballagh two years ago.

It’s believed fitness coach Gerry McQuad will continue on in his role.

So far no selectors have been named.

Meanwhile Martina Donnellan from Rathnure has been named as the new intermediate team manager.

The Minor Manager is Jame Flynn from Rathnure, Joe Roche from Castletown Liam Mellows will take charge of the U-16s, and Martin Broaders from the Rapparees is the new manager of the U-14’s.
