A parcel of farm land at Graighill, Carrig-on-Bannow, made an exceptional price on public auction this afternoon.
Containing just over forty two acres and close to the South Wexford coast it sold for €655,000 which works out at €15,500 per acre.
There were two active bidders for the property with John Radford of Radford Sherry Fitzgerald Auctioneers New Ross having carriage of sale.
