SPORT: ALL IRELAND CHAMPIONS RETURN HOME

Semple Stadium was packed last night, to greet the victorious Tipperary hurlers.

The All Ireland Champions got a rapturous welcome as they brought the Liam McCarthy Cup on stage in Thurles.

Captain Brendan Maher told the jubilant crowd they’re determined to repeat the scenes next year.
