CALLS FOR FAI TO SAVE WEXFORD YOUTHS FROM LIQUIDATION

There have been calls for the Football Association of Ireland to step in to save Wexford Youths soccer club.

The club is hit by the liquidation of its founder Mick Wallace’s construction firm M and J Wallace.

Wexford TD Paul Kehoe has written a letter to the FAI CEO John Delaney outlining the importance of the club to sport in the Wexford area.

He also asked the organisation to leave no stone unturned in their endeavours to save the club.
