LIVESTOCK CONFISCATED FROM KILKENNY FARMER

A County Kilkenny farmer has had a number of livestock confiscated over unpaid taxes.

One hundred and twenty five cows were seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau over an outstanding tax bill of four million euro.

The bureau had been investigating the tax affairs of Thomas McDonnnell from Pollough Skeoghvosteen Graignamanagh in relation to a tax assessment made in 2008 and concerning the years from 1991 to 2006.
