BLAIR WANTS NORTHERN IRELAND SEEN AS A “SPECIAL CASE” IN BREXIT TALKS

Tony Blair says Northern Ireland needs to be considered a “special case” in the talks on Brexit and the border.

But the former British prime minister has suggested there should not be special status sought for the six counties.

He’s been addressing a meeting of Fine Gael’s European party, the EPP, in County Wicklow.

He says all parties in Britain are agreed that the North’s relationship with the Republic should change as little as possible.
