Rosslare Lifeboat was called out yesterday evening to a stricken yacht 10 miles east off the Wexford coast.
The 36 foot yacht had mechanical problems and alerted Arklow Lifeboat which was already on a call to a stricken vessel further up the coast.
Rosslare Lifeboat answered the call and the towed the vessel towards Arklow.
The Arklow service arrived on the scene then and towed the vessel back to the Wicklow port.
There were no injuries to the crew or yacht during the operation.
