JUSTICE MINISTER SAYS GARDAI WORKING HARD TO PREVENT TERROR ATTACKS

The Tanaiste says there’s no complacency when it comes to a possible terrorist attack on Irish soil.

Senior Gardai said yesterday that they could respond to a terrorist attack in the capital within minutes, but were still establishing response times rurally.

Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald says while an attack is unlikely, they’re working hard at ensuring safety across Ireland.
