ROSS TO MEET ROAD SAFETY GROUPS TO DISCUSS TRAFFIC BILL

The Transport Minister is to meet with a number of road safety groups this morning to discuss his new Road Traffic Bill.

It would see people lose their licences if they’re caught driving after drinking less than a pint.

Some people have argued that it’s too harsh particularly on those living in rural Ireland.

Four junior ministers are believed to be against the bill, with Fianna Fáil also saying they’ll oppose it.
