DONOHOE MAY ATTEND BANK SHAREHOLDER MEETINGS TO SORT OUT TRACKER SCANDAL

The Finance Minister’s being urged to turn up at the banks’ shareholder meetings if they don’t sort out the tracker scandal soon.

Paschal Donohoe has warned he’ll become an ‘active’ shareholder in the three state owned banks if he doesn’t see progress.

They promised yesterday they’d compensate 12-thousand customers before Christmas – but that means thousands more will have to wait till next summer.
