WEXFORD STILL BADLY HIT BY POWER AND WATER OUTAGE

130 thousand homes and businesses across the country are still without power in the wake of Storm Ophelia.

Many of these are in County Wexford which was particularly badly hit

Its having a knock on effect on water supplies – with  thousands of  customers still cut off with Irish Water providing a tanker in Ballyculane village yesterday evening

Eir says 110 thousand remain without broadband, telephone and mobile service.
