About Rehab
Rehab is a leading non-governmental organisation which works towards a world where every person has the opportunity to achieve their potential. They work in local communities to provide high-quality services and opportunities to people who need them.
This year alone, in Ireland, Rehab will train 5,000 people, many of whom require additional supports, and set them on the path to further education, training and employment. Close to 500 people were placed in jobs in 2009, and they continue to support 200 people who use their services in part-time employment, while directly employing a further 200 people with disabilities in their commercial division.
The people who currently use their services include young people and adults with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, people with mental health difficulties, people with autism and people with an acquired brain injury. A range of essential services are also provided to older people, carers and others who are marginalised. ( ref rehab For further information visit www.rehab.ie)
