YOUR NAME : Alan Ennis Is the name you use on air your real name? : sure is! Where did you go to school? : Johns Road then the CBS and on to the Vocational College What were you like when you were a kid? : I think I was a bit shy When & where did you do your first radio show? : South East Radio Were you good (and do you know if anybody listened?!) My first day was probably terrible, but I hope it has gotten better and that I do have some listeners How did you get into radio : Had never thought about radio really, I had been in the UK for 12 years doing TV work and got an email from SER about work, so I followed it up and here I am. What’s your typical working day like? : Prep for the show, do the show and then make the Ads you hear go out on air Do you think you are famous? : No What sort of CD’s are in your collection? : Elvis, Elvis,Elvis, Elvis some Wet Wet Wet and Bob Marley, I also love country music so Johnny Cash is high up on the list, my iPod has 13,000 songs on it so you can see I am a music lover What was the last CD you purchased? : Jack L Burn on. I love that guy What's your favourite song of all-time? : Elvis Presley - Kentucky Rain What type of car do you drive? : An old Renault Laguna What's in your pockets at the moment? : Money, car key, rubbish and a business card for Ballytramon Equestrian Centre What music do you personally like best? : Elvis What type of food do you like? : Chinese is by far the best, I love pizza but its much too expensive to get as a take away Are you superstitious? : No not really, I do that stupid thing of saluting when I see a magpie, not sure why. What was the last book you read? : I am in the middle of reading Paul Nicholls autobiography, but the last book I finished was Amanda Brunkers Champagne kisses (She was a guest on my show so I had to) What’s your favorite film? : Predator, but my fav funny movie is Mrs. Doubtfire. Who was the most famous person you’ve met. When & where was it? : Lennox Lewis must be the best known, I did meet Jake La Matta the raging bull once, but for me the best person I met was Bob Champion, he is a real living legend, I am close friends with him now and raise money for his charity trust. What are you like when you’ve had a few drinks? : I get even more talkative, then I get a bit madder, then I get concerned about how I am going to get home. What 5 words describe you best? : Angelic, lovable, caring, wonderful, ah who am I trying to kid, just 1 word, TALKATIVE If you ruled the country what would be the first thing you'd change? : Oh man I could go on for hours, I would change the policing system and give them back more power and take away their paperwork. Is there anything you want to declare?! : I have 5 tattoos Any other info you don't mind sharing with the world? : Yep, I am a huge Elvis fan, but you already knew that, join me on the best radio station in the South East, from 12-3 Mon – Fri.

BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME, NOT ON THE STREETS.
FOR THE TAXES I PAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM EMPLOYED .
FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.
FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.
FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE
FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME .
FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE IT MEANS WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION .
FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM WARM.
FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS I CAN HEAR.
FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.
FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.
FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.
AND FINALLY, FOR TOO MUCH E-MAIL
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING OF ME.
