SPORT: WEXFORD VERSUS CLARE HURLING MATCH CONFIRMED FOR JULY 5TH

It’s been confirmed Wexford’s Senior Hurling team will face Clare in the All Ireland qualifiers on Saturday July 5th.

Throw in will be at half 3 in Ennis.

There were fears the game would be played this weekend leaving supporters having to choose whether to travel to Clare to watch the hurlers on the Saturday or the footballers who are away to Dublin on Sunday.

Meanwhile the losers of Galway and Kilkenny’s Leinster semi-final re-play in Tullamore this Saturday will then have to face Tipperary on Saturday, July 5th at Semple Stadium.

In the other qualifier matches, Waterford take-on Laois this Saturday evening at Walsh Park from 7pm.

And Antrim will play Offaly on Sunday in Ballycastle at 2pm.
