Consumers Paying Extra For Hard Copys Of Bills

CONSUMERS PAYING EXTRA FOR HARD COPYS OF BILLS

New research is putting the spotlight on the cost of choosing paper over online billing.

The Irish Independent claims consumers are paying up to 40 euro a month to receive paper bills.

The study’s also shown that companies are rewarding people who deal with them online, instead of going to their outlets, with discounts of up to 12 per cent.

Personal Finance Editor with the newspaper Charlie Weston says that in many cases you pay dearly to have a hard copy of a bill.
