MAN CHARGED WITH MURDERING FLAT MATE IN LIMERICK

A Latvian man has been charged with murdering his flat mate at their apartment in Limerick earlier this week.

55-year old Arnis Labunskis, with an address at Wolfe Tone Street, is accused of murdering Lithunanian national Dainius Burba, who would have celebrated his 40th birthday next month.

The accused, who the court heard has “certain medical needs”, was granted free legal aid.

Judge Mary Larkin directed the accused receive any necessary medical attention and remanded him in custody to appear in court again next Tuesday.
