ADAMS COULD STEP DOWN AS SINN FEIN LEADER AT ARD FHEIS IN NOVEMBER

The Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams says he will detail his personal intentions for leadership change if he is re-elected as party President at an Ard Fheis in November.

Mr Adams is delivering a speech at a pre-Dail think-in in which he says Sinn Féin wants to be in government in both the Republic and Northern Ireland.

He has previously said he wants to lead Sinn Féin into the next election but today revealed a 10-year plan for the party will be unveiled at the Ard Fheis, including his own future intentions.
