MORE CALLS FOR NOIRIN O’SULLIVAN TO STEP DOWN AFTER BREATH TEST SCANDAL

There’s fresh calls for the Garda Commissioner to step down after the latest news about fake breath tests.

An investigation has found an extra half a million breath tests that were made up by Gardaí between 2009 and 2016.

The report says the recording of almost 1.5 million fake tests has undermined confidence in the organisation.

It’s being considered by the cabinet this morning, and Sinn Féin Justice Spokesperson Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire says they need to examine the future of the Commissioner.
