IMPORTED FODDER ARRIVES INTO ROSSLARE TO GIVE FARMERS A BREAK

The first consignment of imported fodder for livestock arrived in Rosslare this morning.

Two and a half thousand tons was sourced in the UK by Dairygold Co-Op.

Other co ops are following suit and many more tons of feed will be arriving in the coming days through Rosslare.

Meanwhile the sheer scale of the problem facing farmers has been highlighted by a South Wexford farmer in Carrig On Bannow.
