NO CALL FOR TAOISEACH FROM BORIS JOHNSON

It’s still not known when the new British Prime Minister will hold a telephone call with the Taoiseach.

While the government says “official level” contact has been made, no talks between Boris Johnson and Leo Varadkar have taken place.

Since becoming prime minister almost a week ago, Mr. Johnson has phoned several EU leaders – but not the Taoiseach.
