Meals on Wheels for Gorey and Courtown have announced that the service will receive full funding starting January 1st
It comes as the service faced serious funding shortfalls due to HSE cuts.
The service provides not just meals but crucial well-being checks four times a week & it was on the brink of closure due to the funding cuts.
Colin Webb Chairperson of the service told South East Radio News this morning that the news of the funding comes as a huge relief
