He says his own experiences inspired him to create the platform, with the aim of helping people demonstrate what they can do and recognise the value of skills developed throughout life. As part of One Day, Many Voices, Jay is sharing his story and highlighting the experiences that have shaped both his work and his approach to supporting others. He proved the doubters wrong, securing long-term social housing and moving into his own home near Wexford town. He went on to study Culinary Arts and Food Business Management through WWETB.
