RYANAIR PLANE BOUND FOR LUTON DIVERTED TO STANSTED AFTER SECURITY ALERT

In the UK – RAF fighter jets have intercepted a Ryanair plane, and escorted it to Stansted airport.

The flight from Kaunas in Lithuania had been bound for Luton before it was diverted.

Ryanair says it was because of a ‘suspected hoax security alert’.

Passengers will be transferred to Luton by coach.
