Setanta Insurance Collapses Affecting 75 Thousand Irish Drivers

SETANTA INSURANCE COLLAPSES AFFECTING 75 THOUSAND IRISH DRIVERS

County Wexford’s Setanta Insurance customers are being advised they may be without cover.

It follows the collapse of the company – with as many as 75-thousand Irish drivers affected.

The company has advised it may not be able to pay out on any claims as it’s gone into liquidation.

The Central Bank is urging customers – many believed to be van drivers – to make alternative arrangements without delay.

It’s a Dublin-based company set up in 2007, but is regulated in Malta.
