Sinn Fein Selects Candidate For Wexford For Next General Election

SINN FEIN SELECTS CANDIDATE FOR WEXFORD FOR NEXT GENERAL ELECTION

Sinn Fein has selected it’s candidate to contest the next general election in the Wexford constituency.

Enniscorthy man Johnny Mythen was chosen at the selection convention in Ferns last night after he emerged victorious over Roisin O’Connor from Foulksmills in New Ross.

Councillor Mythen was elected to Wexford County Council in 2014 and is a former Chairman of Enniscorthy town council.

His selection will ensure that Enniscorthy has at least three candidates contesting the next general election with Government Chief Whip Paul Kehoe and Fianna Fáil TD John Browne also expected to run.
