SPORT: BOTH THE LADIES AND MENS GAA TEAMS ANNOUNCED

Liam Dunne has included a mix of youth and experience in his Wexford side for their Allianz National Hurling League Division 1B first round meeting with Antrim.

The Model County are without a number of regular starters for Sunday’s clash in Ballycastle such as Garrett Sinnott, Podge Doran, Conor McDonald, David Redmond, Eoin Moore and Tomas Waters.

St James’s dual player Matthew O’Hanlon, who starred for UCD in yesterday’s Sigerson Cup quarter-final darby win over DCU, captains the side.

The Full back line is made up of Keith Rossiter, Matthew O’Hanlon and Bobby Kenny.

The Half backs are Richie Kehoe, Lee Chin and Ciaran Kenny

In Centre Field are Diarmuid O’Keeffe and Andrew Shore

The half forwards are Shane Tomkins, Jack Guineya and Ian Byrne

And the full forwards are Paul Morris, Rhys Clarke and Liam Og McGovern

Meanwhile Wexford have made six changes to their starting line up for this Sunday’s National League Division 3 Ladies Football game.

They play Armagh in Ballygarret at 2pm.

Shauna Murphy, Marcella Cullen, Kellie Kearny and Ellen O’Brien all make their first starts of the year for the model county who are hoping to get their first points on the board in this campaign.

That’s after they lost to Waterford and Tipperary in the opening rounds of the league.
