SPORT: CAMOGIE ASSOCIATION CONFIRM SEMI-FINAL PAIRINGS
The Camogie Association have confirmed the pairings for the All-Ireland senior semi-finals, which will take place on the weekend of August 15th.
Galway will play the quarter-final winners of Wexford and either Dublin or Clare – who play-off tomorrow in Semple Stadium. While Kilkenny will face the winners of the Tipperary and Cork quarter-final.
It’s also been confirmed that in the event of Clare and Dublin ending level, after extra-time, the replay will take place on Monday, August 3rd, in Netwatch Cullen Park at 2.30, with the previously scheduled quarter-final tie against Wexford moving to Saturday, August 8th.
It follows a fraught week for the Camogie association after Dublin and Clare refused to draw lots to decide who would take on Wexford.
