SPORT: WEXFORD TEAM TO FACE UCD NAMED
The Wexford team to play UCD this Sunday in the Walsh Cup was announced after training last night.
Six Wexford players, including Captain Matthew O’Hanlon and Conor McDonald, will play with UCD.
Former Footballer Daithi Waters starts at centre forward and is flanked by Shelmaliers top scorer Joe Kelly and one of last year’s U21 stars Padraig Foley is starting at wing back with Mossy Waters returning after a long break through injury.
The team in full is in goal; Niall Breen.
The fullback line is Andrew Kenny, Thomas Waters and Ciaran Kenny.
The half backs are Padriag Foley, Lee Chin and Richie Kehoe.
Benny Barron and Garrett Sinnott are in midfield.
The half forwards are Joe Kelly, Daithi Waters and Diarmuid O’Keeffe and the full forward line is Paul Morris, Shane Tomkins and Liam Og McGovern.
The game starts at 2pm in Gorey.
