SPORT: WEXFORD YOUTH’S BEATEN LAST NIGHT Wexford Youths were beaten 3 – 1 by Shamrock Rovers in the Premier Division of the Airtricity League last night. The Youths are still second from bottom but are eight points clear of Longford Town who were beaten 1 nil by St. Patrick’s Athletic. Wexford Youths will play leaders Dundalk on the 26th of August. Meanwhile Pep Guardiola has his first Champions League match as Manchester City manager tonight. They’re in Romania for the first leg of their play-off with Steaua Bucharest. The overall winner of the tie progresses to the group stage.
