mcilroy moves to second in world rankings
Rory McIlroy's Open victory has propelled him from eighth to second in the world rankings. Spain's Sergio Garcia, who finished tied for second at Hoylake, is now fifth. It means there are now no Americans in the top five, with Australian Adam Scott remaining at number one.
