Arrest made following fatal hit and run in ferns
A man wanted in connnection with a fatal road accident outside Enniscorthy almost a month ago has been arrested by Gardai. He's been taken into custody and is presently helping investigating officers with their inquiries. The 23 year-old was arrested in the Wicklow Town area just after 10am this morning. He's believed to be the driver of the second car involved in the hit and run at Ballylough in Ferns on January 12th in which 81 year old James Brennan lost his life. The man is being held at Enniscorthy Garda Station.
