Calls for prioritised investment in co. wexford
Prioritised investment is needed to kick start the economy of County Wexford. That's according to Wexford County Council Fianna Fail member Michael Sheehan. He's calling on the government and the IDA to do more for the county. Wexford County Council has passed a motion calling for a meeting with Jobs Minister Richard Bruton Michael Sheehan says there will be lots to discuss with him - he says they want investment in the gas pipeline for New Ross, investment in broadband and investment into our people with better education and training facilities. Councillor Sheehan says the fact that we've had six IDA visits over the last 3 years speaks for itself and comes as the South East was found to be performing middle of the road last week.
