Mick wallace says indiscipline is rampant within the gardai

There's poor management in the top echelons of the gardai with widespread indiscipline. That's according to Wexford Independent TD Mick Wallace speaking in the Dail this week. He said as yet no reform measures have been implemented based on the Guerin report which was published nine months ago. Deputy Wallace says there no law and order in relation to senior management, there's no sanction when they break the rules. However he says this is not just about the penalty points issus. Mick Wallace says if this is how they apply the law how do they apply it when it comes to charging someone, arresting someone, taking someone's complaint seriously. He says the Garda Inspectorate report went to great lengths to point out that they ignored their own policy widely.
