Most of county wexford avoids flood damage
Large parts of County Wexford avoided flood damage overnight but New Ross was once again hit. The County was on high alert during high tide because of stormy weather conditions - but most areas escaped without significant damage. Marshmeadows in New Ross became submerged in water after the River Barrow burst it's banks on Monday and once again became flooded last night. But New Ross Fine Gael Councillor Larry O'Brien says the damage was not as significant. Stormy conditions have eased today but another weather front is expected to hit our shores on Friday night.
