Saturday, 25 April 2026 - 46 minutes

Following the news that she was to take to the Royal Albert Hall stage in London for a 2nd spell conducting the BBC Proms Orchestra, Ferns woman Karen Ní Bhroin was on the programme to share her delight at the selection.

Folklorist and Historian Michael Fortune was on the show to tell John about two upcoming historical events on the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Members of the Ferns Utd Women's team, including team coach Damien Barcoe, and goalscorers Amy Wilson & Nicola Davitt recounted their winning of the LFA Women's Junior title the previous weekend.

...and finally, John travelled to Limbrick in Kilanerin, where a local community effort has been piecing together the story of a once-mysterious townland known as “the Limerick of Leinster." John spoke to Peter O'Connor and Conor Murphy.
