With the Rockin' Food and Fruit Festival underway in Enniscorthy, John was joined by Rockin’ Food and Fruit Festival Group Secretary Richie Cotter, and the Chairperson of the Rock & Roll Festival Committee, Eamonn Doyle.
With a bank holiday weekend underway and new speed cameras being rolled out, the question is being asked as to what more needs to be done to change driver behaviour, and to save lives. Ireland South MEP and member of the European Transport Committee, Cynthia Ní Mhurchú joined John to discuss.
The Stephen O’Leary Memorial 5K Run, Walk & Jog was back for another year, with all proceeds from the event will going towards the Monageer and Ferns First Responders, and the life saving work that they do. John chatted to a number of people connected with both groups, as well as one of the head organisers of the 5K, Pat Crean.
...and finally, two weeks on from his big win on the Late Late Show, Wexford musician Jesse Sludds was in studio, alongside his father Bobby for a chat.
