South East Radio Death Notice announcements are broadcast daily and notify listeners of deaths and funeral or service arrangements of people from primarily within Co. Wexford and its hinterlands.

The notices are placed with South East Radio by the respective Funeral Director. For security reasons we only accept death notice details from recognised undertakers. We will not accept details from members of the public regardless of their position or relationship with the deceased.

The announcements generally give the name, maiden name if applicable, address of the deceased, immediate family details and funeral arrangements.

  • The South East Radio Death Notices follow the news Monday to Friday at 10am, 1pm and 6pm.
  • On weekends and bank holidays you can hear the Death Notices following the 11am and 1pm news.
  • Air times may vary during the Christmas Holiday period, please listen in for details.
  • Death Notices on- line will be updated by 11am each day.

To place a death notice, send details to reception@southeastradio.ie. We can only accept details form a funeral director/undertaker.
