Sales Executive – South East Radio

South East Radio is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Executive to join our team.

This is an opportunity to build a successful career in media sales, working with businesses across the South East and helping them connect with our audience through creative advertising and marketing solutions.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing and growing client relationships, and achieving agreed revenue targets across South East Radio's broadcast, digital, sponsorship and promotional platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients
• Managing and growing relationships with new and existing customers
• Understanding clients' businesses and identifying how South East Radio can help achieve their marketing objectives
• Creating and presenting effective advertising, sponsorship and digital solutions
• Developing long-term relationships with clients and advertising agencies
• Working with Programming, Production and Digital colleagues to deliver creative campaigns
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service and account management
• Achieving agreed monthly and annual sales targets

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is confident, motivated, commercially minded and good with people.

You should enjoy developing relationships, be comfortable approaching prospective customers and have the drive and resilience required to build new business.

Previous experience in sales, business development, advertising or media would be an advantage, but we are also interested in candidates from other commercial backgrounds who can demonstrate the personality and determination to succeed.

You'll need to be organised, persuasive, comfortable working to targets and enthusiastic about representing South East Radio in the local business community.
