Very Rev. Jim Byrne, former parish priest of Kilrush and Newbawn.

Beloved son of the late Thomas and Kitty.

Brother of Sr. Anne, Kathleen, Mary, Hugh, Toddy, Bernie, Joan, Pat and the late John, Margaret and Michael.

Sadly, missed by bishop Ger Nash and his brother priests of the Diocese of Ferns. 

Reposing at Cooney’s Funeral Home, New Ross,

on Friday from 2 pm,

with removal at 7 pm, to Saint John the Baptist church, Gusserane.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11 am.

Burial afterwards in Terrerath cemetery. 

Family flowers, only.

Donations if desired, to The New Community Hospital, New Ross.
