RTE’s Anne Cassin to Present the New Ross Piano Festival 20th Anniversary Gala Concert

The New Ross Piano Festival is delighted to announce that well-known RTE broadcaster and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Anne Cassin will present the festival’s ‘Two-Piano Gala’ 20th Anniversary Concert on Sunday, 19th April, at the National Opera House.

With a broadcasting career spanning more than 35 years, Anne Cassin has spent the last 13 of those as a presenter on the hugely popular RTE programme Nationwide. Earlier this year, she captured the hearts of viewers across the country as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, performing alongside professional dancer Robert Rowiński.

The New Ross Piano Festival, now celebrating two decades of exceptional piano music, marks this milestone with a spectacular afternoon performance featuring two of Ireland’s most celebrated pianists: Finghin Collins and Barry Douglas.

Commenting on the announcement, the festival’s Artistic Director Finghin Collins said; “We are absolutely thrilled that Anne is joining us at the National Opera House next month to celebrate 20 years of our festival. Anne is very much a household name in Ireland, admired not only for her distinguished broadcasting career but also for her recent performances on Dancing with the Stars.
