A man has been arrested in connection with the death of Kerry farmer Michael Gaine.
The 56 year old was reported missing from his home in Kenmare on March 21st last year.
His dismembered remains were discovered after slurry was spread on his farm.
Gardai say a man aged in his 50's has been detained in connection with the homicide of Michael Gaine.
Investigations involving the Serious Crime Unit in Kerry and the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation are ongoing.
