The Defence Forces says all its personnel in the Middle East are "well and accounted for".
Irish soldiers in the 127th Infantry Battalion with UNIFIL have been based along the Blue Line, which is the subject of ongoing tensions.
Army officials say all necessary force protection measures are being strictly observed and soldiers continue to carry out their roles and responsibilities.
They've also extended their thoughts to "UN colleagues" in these areas in what they call a "challenging environment".
