clare and dublin withdraw names from coin toss for camogie quarter final
The Camogie Association are yet to comment after both Dublin and Clare withdrew from the coin toss that was do determine the last of this year's Championship quarter finalists. Both counties released statements this morning with Clare's the stronger, claiming the governing body have shown contemt and disdain for the players. A statement from the players - made via the Women's GPA - says they feel hugely disrespected by the idea that a coin toss would decide who progresses to take on Wexford this weekend. While neither Cork nor Tipperary, who are to contest the other quarter final, have any plans to themselves withdraw from their game in solidarity.
