Shane Lowry has won on the PGA tour for the first time. The Offaly man won the World golf Championship Bridgestone invitational in Ohio after a final round 66 gave him an 11 under finish. Lowry was 2 shots clear of Bubba Watson. Graeme Mc Dowell ended tied for 17th on 1 under. Lowry's win has moved him up to 19th in the new world rankings.
