enniscorthy showjumper picks up major award
Wexford's Bertram Allen picked up a prestigious award earlier this week. The 19 year-old took home The Irish Field's senior show jumper of the year accolade. It follows a remarkable year in which the Enniscorthy native won five-star Grand Prix classes, finished best of the Irish and seventh individually at the World Equestrian Games and won two World Cup qualifiers.
