homecoming for under 21 hurlers confirmed if they win
It's been confirmed there will be a civic reception for Wexford's under 21 hurlers if they come through the All Ireland final. They play Clare in Semple Stadium on Saturday from 7 o'clock looking to bring home "The Cross of Cashel". If Wexford win it will only be the second time ever that a Model County side have taken the title after they last one it in 1965. Wexford County Secretary Margaret Doyle has confirmed a civic ceremony will take place if they overcome the banner county. It will take place on Wexford's quayfront on Sunday evening but will only take place if the Wexford team win.
