Ireland have two wins from two matches at the Cricket World Cup after beating the United Arab Emirates by two wickets. The team came through a tense finish to reach a victory target of 279 with four balls remaining. Gary Wilson top scored with 80 as Ireland made 279 for 8 in reply to the UAE's total of 278 for 9. That means they join the leaders of Pool B West Indies and Pakistan on 4 points. Next up for Ireland is South Africa next Tuesday.
