Ireland's Katie Taylor has secured yet another international medal. The London Olympic hero has beaten home favourite Lavina Ioana Mera of Romania in their quarter-final at the European Women's Boxing Championships in Bucharest. The Bray native was always in control of the bout before being declared the winner by technical knock-out. Earlier, Joanna Lambe and Michela Walsh both lost their quarter-finals bouts.
