Enniscorthy Rugby Club's Katie Whelan has been named on the Irish squad for the first time for this afternoon's opening Six Nations Clash, versus England.
Whelan, who has previously lined out for the Ireland Women's Sevens, could be a potential first cap at scrum half.
There's further Wexford representation on the team in the form of Aoife Wafer who started the game, and Niamh O'Dowd who was also named in the squad.
