New Ross Rugby Club says its very proud today to have produced a Lion.
Tadhg Furlong started his career there and has now joined the elite of the Home Nations by being chosen on the Lions squad for this years tour of New Zealand. A number of rugby enthusiasts from New Ross and across the county are now planning a trip down under where the Lions Tour kicks off on June 3rd. Tadhg Furlong is a Campile man and says he is looking forward to representing his county and country.
